Sight Machine Selected by Martinrea Manchester Division for Digital Transformation of Manufacturing

Sight Machine Inc. today announced that Tier One automotive supplier Martinrea International Inc.’s division in Manchester, Mich., has selected Sight Machine to transform the way it uses manufacturing data from the factory floor. Sight Machine is working with some of the world’s largest manufacturers in automotive, life sciences and consumer goods to turn Big Data from the plant floor into actionable insight.
Martinrea’s initiatives represent a milestone for Big Data in automotive manufacturing. Martinrea’s Manchester Division manufactures fuel lines for automotive OEMs and will use Sight Machine both to evaluate lean manufacturing initiatives already underway and to gain the real-time insight it needs to reduce downtime and costly material waste.
Sight Machine is initially working with Martinrea on process manufacturing improvements on lines making critical components for several marquee vehicles. Sight Machine is providing real-time monitoring and retrospective analysis across a broad range of data, delivering early warning when processes are going outside of parameter and root cause analysis of past process failure.
